Confessions from the Dollhouse

I confess: It’s that time of year again…. Cotton candy, sun kissed shoulders, photo booths, funnel cakes, barnyard animals, carnival rides, and BBQ in the air… summer is by far made better by county faires…. my most beloved of them all is by far our hometown Alameda County Fair… I have been every year for as long as I can remember. This year we got to go twice… once for fun, once for business (our engagement photo shoot)…
Highlights include:

Baby Goats…. Totally worth getting in trouble for picking her up… she was so cute and soft and cuddly… I just wanted to stick her in my bag and raise her urban style…. alas she seemed pretty happy where she was so I left her to be with her peeps….
While leaving the fair we played the, “What was your favorite part of the day” game… It was then, that the Darling confessed to me the first time I coerced him into the petting zoo to visit the goats he was a bit weary… now look at him… a total goat lover…



We practically run to the Margs stand… who doesn’t want an alcoholic slurpee on a hot day!



Our must ride carnival ride… Pole position…. like a crazy out of control race car roller coaster… so fun…. this time we got snapped some action shots!
