Confessions from the Dollhouse

I confess: Last month was inventory at Anthro…. the darling came and worked as a temp… J+A= Jandy… shenanigans ensued….. Jandyman aka Wilson was created to greet all who enter the office….

I confess: Don’t you just love a good deal? My new Anna Sui dress I purchased for $17.97!

I confess: What I did at school yesterday…. Errrr I mean work… What I did at work yesterday….

Yesterday was an art day for me, which means i get to work with our amazing art director and spend a day creating visual displays… yesterday I learned how to hand crochet, hand knit (I suck, but would like to learn more), hand stitch twine to create nets, hang baskets by said nets, clip wire, climb ladders, and had 3 people tell me I was doing their dream job (mine too)…

I confess: Earlier this week I was called a renaissance woman… a compliment I did not take lightly… I like to think of myself as an I can do anything type of gal… so to hear this coming from another member of the management team at work made me giddy…I had a good idea of what I thought a renaissance woman was, but googled it to make sure I was on the right page… I was… She’s a jack of all trades… she can crunch numbers, analyze fashion, spackle walls,drill holes, fix a register, patch hardwood floor, and trouble shoot computer problems, all of which had made up my workday…. as my job description continues to grow and expand I am enjoying the challenge of learning new things to add to my rolodex of knowledge…

I confess: I may have learned a thing or two at Anthropologie!
